Bozidar - teacher, composer, arranger and concert performer, is one of Canada's most prominent classical guitar performers, recently representing Canada at World Expo Events in Karyia, Japan (2005). He followed his National Academy of Music Studies (Belgrade, Yugoslavia) by post-graduate study at the prestigious Chigiana Academy of Music (Siena, Italy) continuing the tradition of the father of modern guitar, Andreas Segovia. Bozidar was the only non-Spanish guitar virtuoso to tour Europe with Flamenco Sensation Maria Torres during the 1970's. |

| Bozidar is an accomplished musician who has performed extensively throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan. Guest artist performances include appearances with Mr. Showman, Liberace, Sir Peter Ustinov, Oscar Peterson, Nana Mouskouri just to name a few. Bozidar’s playing ranges from classical precision through sunny flamenco to popular music with classical flair. To those that heard him play, BOZIDAR is synonymous for rich, passionate, World-class guitar music. He possesses a unique talent of communicating music, his passion, with wide audiences and his enthusiastic and appreciative students.. | ||

Vesna describes her attraction to music and piano as love at first sight. She is enthusiastic, dedicated and a caring teacher and mother of two piano students herself -- David (14) now in Gr 9 RCM, and Laura (12) now in Gr 7 RCM, both studying at Forte Academy, taught by Vesna's colleagues at Forte Academy. She has a first-hand experience of the realism of modern-age mixed messages sent to our kids as well as in dealing with today's parents' challenges. |

As Forte Education Coordinator, and Forte founding member, Vesna oversees the Forte Program and is excited to share her believes in multiple benefits (and life-applications!) of the study of music with other Forte instructors, parents and indeed students. |

Our youngest instructor comes from a musical family - both mom & dad piano teachers, dad pianist, keyboardist, arranger. While sometimes that may prompt resistance (You did it, so I have to do it...?) David managed to find deeper meaning of expressing himself through that universal language of music and sharing his passion and talent with audiences. The spontaneous opportunity to teach serves as additional motivation to David and proved the be success - to the delight of his students. He started playing piano as a shy 6-years old; persevered through intro grades; worked with many teachers. He is currently working on his Grade 10 RCM and studying with Mrs. Anita Phillips respected educator, adjudicator, member of RCM's College of Examiners. David is also working with Mr. Frank Yerka By now, David performed publicly in number of settings - numerous Events and venues such as: Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia; J'Te Aime Showcase (City of Mississauga); Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Repeated Performances at Forte Concert Series; Hotel and Resort Bled, Slovenia (Europe); Exclusive Mediterranean resort Brijuni, Republic of Croatia; and more. He is a recipient of the City Of Mississauga - Mayor's Office Award (2008). Together with his dad, under producer Don Kerr, he is working on a "Piano Fantasy" recording Project. David feels that music is about making friends, enjoying and sharing good time and is delighted to share some of his music making skills and abilities with young students. |
