In researching the topic, we found GM’s analysis that concluded “Playing a musical instrument involves discipline, creativity and conceptualization.  These attributes, added to engineering talent, help produce results that are not only functional but also harmonious in every way.”

Is this all just a coincidence or there is a connection between success …in music and…in life? 

We are convinced that there is a strong connection between training in music and future achievement and success in life. Piano or music study, perhaps, is …demanding yet is extremely rewarding.
Study after study proves that music instruction can be exceptionally beneficial to young children.  The scientific evidence is abundant and compelling; there are strong connections between music instruction and higher test scores, grade point averages, success in college. Music training helps develop the child’s cognitive and communication skills, fine-tunes the workings of the brain and forms solid work habits through practice; Music Students also earn better organizational and stress coping skills and a sense of pride, accomplishment and competition quite early in life. All the life-skills of great value. 

Our kids may not turn out to be concert pianists, but they may become fantastic writers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers…because they have been provided the immeasurable opportunity of musical training to develop essential life skills.

Our Teaching Philosophy...

I love MUSIC! I love my profession! I am deep believer in the power of music and firmly believe in numerous musical and non-musical benefits of study of music - I believe that everyone is enriched through the study of music in terms of personal satisfaction, enhanced creativity and self-expression, and increased awareness and self-confidence. I believe that students respond best to example, and consequently I make a point of being enthusiastic, well organized and prepared for each lesson. I provide written detailed practice instructions at each lesson, in order to facilitate the development of effective practice habits and approaches. I believe in positive reinforcement as a motivator and I am careful to recognize effort, as well as results. I want my students to enjoy their studies, to set standards for themselves and to feel successful. I want them to work reasonably hard because they wish to improve their skills and knowledge.  I am committed to invest  my very best effort in teaching music and will expect and appreciate parents' assistance and support. Each student is unique and special! I try to let my students know that.
